Question about article directories

Hi People

I've been doing article marketing to create backlinks to my sites.
Have been using "Goarticles" and "Articlesbase"

Recently I checked Articlesbase and it looks like they are noFollow.
For the creation of backlinks it make much diference if is noFollow or doFollow?

And could you recomend any article directories that are good to create
backlinks and have a quick approval.

Thanks
Jorge

They are no follow which means the backlink will not count, but I would still recommend submitting to them as they do seem to rank well and they do also provide a decent amount of traffic.

    I would also suggest;

    ezinearticles.com
    buzzle.com
    articlecity.com
    articledashboard.com
    isnare.com

I would not put to much worry into just going for backlinks that do follow.

You can get a lot of traffic from nofollow sites as well ie Yahoo answers.

I would recommend just concentrating on getting links to your site, this will help you build up awareness of your website and thus increase traffic.

      Thanks for let me know.

One thing I don't understand is, it shows a number of
external pages linking back to my site (with HTTP) but if I check google
for my url like this "www.mysite.com" there are a lot more links pointing to my site.

When building links I use ( http://www.mysite.com -- Anchor text) is this the right way?

      Thanks

Yeah where you have Anchor text you would put your keyword. I would also recommend building back links for deeper pages as well not just your main index page

Yes they are no follow but the backlinks ARE still counted - do follow and no follow does not mean anything. Ignore it... And please do not listen to just rehashed and repeated crap other tell you.
