Ezinearticles and No-Follow Tags - Have You Noticed?

I am not big on article marketing but today was the day I decided to submit an article and when I went to make a small edit/modification I noticed there was already a no-follow tag.

If it matters at all, my link was at the end of the article, not in the resource box (I didn't have a resource box for this article).

Don't know how long that's been going on. Have you noticed? What are your thoughts?

    Yeah I have noticed this

When editing i took the no follow out, dont know if that counts LOL

I would suggest putting a resource box in as this one is Do-Follow, I dont think it matters though it all counts and is all traffic

In the article it is always no-follow. The resource box IS follow. Been that way as long as I can remember.

On a side note, why would you not add a resource box? That is the most critical point of article marketing with Ezine Articles.

Agreed. I don't think it's ever been any other way

I believe they get reinserted as soon as you save.

Thank you for clarification. I didn't know. Like I said I rarely submit to article directories; usually just post on my own sites because they are so well optimized that they are already on the first page of google, so typically when I used to submit more articles I noticed that my own articles in directories were competing with my own web pages so I rarely submit anymore.

Why would I not make a resource box? Don't know. I guess this article was off the topic for me, so no premade resource box was available. I didn't realize it makes a difference.

  • They are making a ton of money off the labors of others and in order to preserve their ranking they are going to do this. But there is a good side to it, suppose they didn't and the rankings dropped, then you wouldn't be found in the first place.

If you are "Article Marketing" for the purpose of SEO you are wasting your efforts. Create your articles so that you can profit from the direct traffic. Leverage the SEO Benefits of the Article Directory.
