Here is why.... Impressions: 243,762 Clicks: 1,643 Sales: 0 Hmm... ok checked links and everything is right. Product promoted was one of the top membership sites. But again. Chances 1643 people click and not a single one order? I was using AdMob as advertising... I used it before and that worked great with my own products. But with CB it sucks. I feel robbed. Daniel |

Don't feel bad, one time I had 16,000 sign up page clicks and 0 sales. I would dump that sponsor as soon as you can. Unless you are sending Chinese messageboard 404 traffic or something there is no excuse for that.

Time to dump it and move on! Lesson learned and that is valuable enough.

Be mad at AdMob not ClickBank. If the quality of traffic is not targeted or interested in the offer it makes sense you didn't make any sales. I don't know anything about AdMob or the quality of their leads but I would look their first before saying that ClickBank "screwed you".

A couple of points: 1. I don't buy using my phone. The closest I get is adding things to my cart in Amazon, but that's just so I can check them out when I get on my home computer. 2. You have to know your list in order to match a clickbank product. Just blindly sending them to a high gravity item is bordering on spam. Good luck, Phil |

Not that I personally do this all the time, but it's generally a good idea to attempt to send mass traffic like this to a couple different landing pages with different products to get an idea of which ones make the most money per visitor.

Right now we don't see mobile advertising as a useful and profitable platform. It's still in the growing stages. At this point in time, mobile advertising won't help you convert clicks into sales because most people don't really purchase via their mobile. So how advertisers work via mobile advertising platform is by launching EPC ads, such as adsense via mobile. The number of clicks to your ads with mobile phones are surprisingly high. And I can tell you this though. Mobile advertising, like what areaK said, is actually growing rapidly. Google knows that and that's why they came up with Adsense on Mobile. You can just see how many mobile networks are coming up on the internet. They are keeping on track with the fast growing mobile technology and smartphones. Universities are now using mobile phones to run ecourses and handle attendance. So yea, NMP, don't count on mobile advertising to convert Clickbank sales at this point in time, but do keep it in mind. Watch the trend yea..

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the Global Giving Japanese Earthquake and Tsunami Relief Fund. I have friends in Japan, none of whom -- fortunately -- were affected. But lots of people are still doing it tough. So, thank you on their behalf.

Personally, I wouldn't join a membership site via my mobile phone. I may look for info about the site on my phone but if I did decide to join I would wait until I was on my computer. Something more targeted to phones like games may perform better... Cheers, Danny. |

Sure, the conversion is terrible but isn't mobile advertising really cheap? I'm no expert, but you can't expect it to perform like regular PPC if the clicks cost you next to nothing... The only way I can see it being profitable is if you were selling ringtones, videos, games, porn, etc |
