Finally - I have Got a Business Plan!

For the first time in my 5 years marketing online, I have a Business Plan! This is quite a breakthrough for me. I have been doing ok up to now, making a steady 5 figures passively - which I know is not mega, but it is also a very healthy income that some people round here would love to be able to achieve.

The problem with internet marketing - at least for me - has always been how to get to the next stage, so at the moment, that challenge means: how do I get from 5 figures to 6 figures? Anyway, the point of the post is that many times I have seen other people suggest that you need a Business Plan. And, as laughable as it may seem, I never had one until now.

I just tried everything (well not quite everything) just to see what worked and what didn't; and, in the process, managed to become moderately successful. When I say 'moderately successful', I mean strictly in terms of monetisation. I have been - if I do say so myself - amazingly successful in terms of SERPS results and traffic.

There is no question about it, I have made loads of mistakes, but now finally, I have constructed a Business Plan - and it feels ... well, great! I know exactly what I am going to do over this year to take me from 5 figures to 6 and, as I said, this is a real breakthrough for me.

So, do YOU have a Business Plan yet?

I've always worked from a plan of sorts and continuously modify it since everything on the web is so fluid. Without any plan you won't get the most important things accomplished and you won't have a way to measure your success.

    Congrats on taking action!

Hi Will, Good for YOU!! I am in my first real year of IM. I have interest in 4 projects at different stages. I hope to run my 4 avenues and that should keep me quite busy for this year. I have yet to see the money.

How many projects do you have for the 5 figure income and do you need to add more to go to the 6th figure?

I have one project that is responsible for the bulk of the income. I may have done some things wrong - which I can now see with hindsight - but I also did some things right; and staying with that one project until I could make it work was definitely something I did right.

Now, that's not to say I don't have other projects - I do - but they don't get much of my time. With regard to my plan to get to 6 figures - no it's still about tweaking my main project.

      Will
