How do you deal with insertion fees for eBay?

What if someone lists on eBay 100 items, and none sells? Does that person pays the insertion fee multiplied 100 times?

Is any way to minimize the cost of the insertion fee if some items don't sell?

You could consider listing them as Fixed price (Good till cancel), that it will only cost you a few cents per month.

Listing them on auction is going to hurt your pocket, unless you are confident that the sell-through rate is high enough to make at least (minimum, just to break even) double of what you spent on eBay to list it.

A fixed price listing with multiple items available is a consideration but the downside is that fewer listings give less exposure for your product. To sell 100 of the same item; it is possible to place 10 BIN [Buy It Now] auction listings with 10 available on each listing... this would make the insertion fee $1.50.
