Is Safe List A Way To Go?

I am thinking about using safe list to bring traffic to the squeeze page With a bonus for signing in.
Is this a good alternative for traffic?

That is a good idea. It had some drawbacks earlier. I think they have overcome those little drawback it had. I know some succeeded cases with safe list.

I believe most people will prefer paid safe list rather than free. You may need to do a little research about this.

With some safelists this works very well. I know I get decent results from
      them.

I use IPostAd and some credit based safelists as well as Herculist and
      Cash4u safelist.

      Those are my best ones.

No.. In most case you are not even required to open the e-mail. You just have to receive the e-mails.

And all the e-mails have subject lines like:

      ******/ Payment Received \******

      I have horrible memories.

I've used safelists in the past...I no longer use them because everybody on the safelist is selling something but no one wants to buy.

If you're going to go the safelist route, I suggest paying for a mail-out. I've gotten a handful of sales from those. I believe the network is called PlanetXmail. The credit based ones and the free ones are pretty much garbage since you're preaching to the choir there.

    Just my two cents.

The key is understanding how to approach these people and the one thing
you can't do is try to sell to them.

That's the first mistake safelist users make.

I agree with Steven on this one. I used safelist before
as a newbie, and from what I remember I used to read
only the ones that says something like "Free...." on the
        subject.

I also used traffic exchanges and mostly clicked/bookmarked the
ones using the same tactic as above.

Also thanks to the OP for posting this, I now recall
some of the resources that I've forgotten already.

        All the best,

The safelist market has one primary need in common: they want traffic to their website.

Offer something for free, particularly if it's related to traffic generation, and you should be good.

You need to have a headline that will draw visitors in and also choose the right safe lists.

My experiences with safelists initially were marginal at best. Most of it is as a result of my trying to SELL an OPPORTUNITY. Just like with most traffic exchanges, safelists are oversaturated with products and opportunities Who cares.

Why not try to appeal to a safelist member's needs, like more traffic, better conversions or longer sex episodes or whatever.

By doing so I believe you'll find better responses from the membership and ultimately sales down the road.

Many of my subscribers come from safelists. Getting targeted traffic is certainly not an area that I've yet mastered but I'm getting there.

I've read Steven's "Crap Advertising Methods" and found it to be a great resource for using safelists effectively.

What I've learned is this - you can't sell to members of safelists, they won't buy. Giving away a freebie of good quality is the only way that it works.

I'm still experimenting with email subject lines and the email itself.

Any tips would be very much appreciated.
