FTC and email marketing

I was wondering if the FTC rules apply to email marketing too.

What I mean is,if I am promoting a clickbank product and if the sales page has a few testimonals about the product,can I use these in my autoresponder emails?

If I am promoting that product in my email series,do I have to put a disclaimer within the email?

I don't want to land up doing something wrong out of ignorance.

Any thoughts?

    Yes, you need to put a disclaimer in your emails if it is an affiliate product.

      Always put a disclaimer at the bottom of your email.

      State that your are an affiliate and if you buy
      this product thru my affiliate link. I will get a
      commission from the sale.

      Be up front, remember you are building a reletionship
      with your list.

      Tell them, it's OK.
