Which of These Fears Is 100% Guaranteed to Make Any Kind of Business to Fail?

I have heard about several kinds of fears such as the following:
  • Fear of the unknown - fear of can-I-really-feed-my-family-with-this-business?
  • Fear of failure - fear of what-if-I fail?
  • Fear of poverty - what-if-I-remain-a-poor-man?
  • Fear of success - fear of can-I-really-sustain-my-present-success?
  • Fear of death - fear of who-takes-over-the-business-when-I-pass-on?
Warriors, which of these fears is 100% guaranteed to make anyone to fail in business?

I think all of them have the same potential to pull any business down.

I think fear in any form is paralyzing. It causes inaction. People stop in their tracks and just can't move forward.

So, IMO, it's not the KIND of fear that makes a person fail -- it's having any fear at all.

For example, I once saw someone "paralyzed" into inaction because they were so scared about having to do with the bookkeeping and taxes associated with business. They hated the thought of hanging onto and organizing receipts. And so they ended up not moving forward.

There may have been something deeper to that person's fear (and he was just rationalizing it with the bookkeeping fear). But he took a relatively small fear and turned it into a huge deal that kept him from seeing success.

    Cheers,
    Becky

They all have potential to bring down a business... fear of the unknown, failure, and success are the three biggest that I've observed, though.

Fear of the unknown can stop you from ever starting. It can trap you in a bad job or life situation and remove your chances of success! I think you must have that entrepreneurial drive to really succeed.

Fear of failure is just as bad. It stops you from taking action. Staying safe never made for success!

Fear of poverty, to me, is similar to fear of failure -- failing to make money.

Fear of success is a big one, and stops some of those who could probably be very successful. Really, all to worry about is whether you can keep doing the things you're doing to make money. If so, you'll keep making money.

Fear of death isn't a big one. I figure I have plenty of time left and once my business has grown a bit more, I'll let my family know what should happen if something terrible happens. I don't let a fear of what could happen any day to any of us stop me, though. If I did, I wouldn't do anything!
