A little test, just to give you some courage!

Alright guys, I thought this might interest you. Recently I have started a campaign as a "newbie" would in order to see how well I could do.

I chose a niche, then I chose a product, then I looked up 10 long-tail keywords.

I wrote on lens per day, and 3 articles based around the keyword pointing to each lens. (doing basic SEO)

I submitted all articles to ezine and then I was done.

By the end of the week I had well over 50 hops (clickbank product) and all of my lens' were indexed!

The next week those lens' still brought me in over 20 visitors of traffic.

So let's say I kept making lens like this every week. The next week I would get 70 visitors, the next week probably about 110, and it would just keep growing from there.

That means in 3 weeks I should have sales, probably sooner then that.

Anyone who has done bum marketing also knows that it never goes like this, generally you'll suddenly hit a huge week and everything boosts in place!

I will report back on this campaign, but just wanted to show the noobies how possible it is, and show them action that they can be taking now!

Then you take your profits and start turning your little venture into a real business

Hope this helps and inspires.

Well, it all mainly depends on the product you have chosen.. If you choose the right product for right clients, you can have some sales undoubtedly... But then again, I would be looking forward to get your reports...

By the way, did you have any sale success with those 50 hops ?

Alright guys, my apologies towards anyone who was following this thread.

I got sick with a nasty cold (like really nasty) so I was out for two weeks. (well more like one week, but my little brother got it too, so I slacked off and sat around watching disney movies with him)

    Anyway, updates!

I switched my landing page to a blog, interestingly enough, it is converting at a higher ctr then squidoo.

I get about 50% to 60% ctr on my blog. Keep in mind all the traffic is primed through my ezine articles.

Next I bought a ezine premium membership. I need to make a profit off of this soon! I hope this gives me enough motivation to keep article marketing.

I have 21 articles published and a few more on the way. Problem is, no sales so far. This is with around 130 hops.

If I don't get a sale by article 25 I am switching products. Right now my product doesn't have a high gravity, but I really liked the salespage and the product was new.

Just keeping everyone updated. Hopefully within a week I'll be posting about a sale in this niche. (I had a few in my other niches)

Note: Usually my CTR at ezine hovers around 30% to 60%. In this niche it has been hovering around 19% to 23% I am slowly creeping to 30%, here's hoping I can get that up.

Nice idea for a test. It really shows how easy it is to make money - or not to make money if you procrastinate

    Good luck with this.
