Hi, 2 months ago, I first get to know about IM and was amazed about IM.

I was curious about Link Exchange, what I know is you put other's link on your website and the person will do the same.

How do I start if I am interested in link exchange?

There is a section here at WF. Just do 3 way link exchanges they are the best.

1. Don't do 3 way links.

2. Don't do reciprocal links.

3. Get one-way links. Look up "How to get Backlinks" in Google.

  Well, all types of links work fine for me. Though the results may change from person to person.
  
  One-way links: Backlinks to your website.
  Two-way links, reciprocal links or link exchange: You link to a website and that website links to you in return.
  Three-way-links: Let call your website "Site A". You link to site B. Site B links to site C. And site C links back to site A.
  
  You can do link exchange for two purposes, PR juice and traffic generation. Both is fine. Just contact to the owners of the sites you want to link exchange.
