With Document sharing sites(Scribd)- Can you just host 1 page PDF article documents on them?

On document sharing sites, such as Scribd+ Docscoc, where you find short reports, mini ebooks, can you just upload 1 PDF page of an article (which you have written) pointing to a link,

and have many of these 1 page articles? (so basically convert articles to PDF, and then upload them) - say 20 of them?

can we do that? do the document sharing sites allow that, or they are strict ?

scridb.com is strict and if you spam the site they will banned your account. I have many documents that are 1 page but they are "real" pdf and not some spammy sales pitch. Yes you can turn your articles into pdf and post them but you need to be careful because if you are pushing some affiliate product and you are being sales pitchy then you may find your account banned.

How about a normal, well written article (no sales pitch) and then at the bottom,

I haven't used them so I am not a reliable person but I think it should be fine.

I would recommend reading their TOS.

That is spammy because if you had a free report then why not just add it on scribd.com ... Oh I know, so you can get someone elses email to join your list.. See what I mean about spammy.

They are strict and personally I am glad they are, this means many marketers can not ruin the site for the rest of us that post actual 100% free information for others to learn from without asking for an email in return.

How about a normal, well written article (no sales pitch) and then at the bottom,

"to watch a series of 7 videos to do with *niche* then visit my site
-> Video page link (where they can optin)

          That any better? lol

I have one account and never been banned.. Many others have ...

See you are still being spammy here because you are asking them to visit your site for the purpose to get traffic and thus opt-ins or sales.

            Here are my stats
            17 Documents
            44 Subscribers
            5,690 Reads
            95 Downloads

Normally I just add (course my pdf's look like newsletters) copyright mydomain.com or newsletter issues #X by mydomain.com

Any time you post something on a site that's not yours you have to be careful what you are posting. It should benefit the website owner, not just you. if it's decent content, it will stick.
