Can French Be Profitable On The Net! Please Help.

Hey Warriors,

I am a French Teacher or Lecturer by profession. I was wondering if you guys could give me some ideas on how to turn this knowledge into cash on the net.
Can this knowledge really be profitable? What can I do to turn my passion into cash?

    A lot of teachers are now moonlighting by selling lesson plans for other teachers.

    You can also create great materials for home-schooling families.

    Or choose a relatively narrow niche and produce French teaching materials just for that niche - amateur cooks, college students going to France for their who need to know the slang they're not taught in school, etc.

    Those are three less-obvious ideas for you.

    Look at the internet usage list by country for last June 2009:

      A LOT of countries speak french or vary similar dialects of it. One site says 200 million people speak French, and says it is spoken in the following countries/continent parts: France, Canada, West Africa, Central Africa. BTW it is #9

        1. I was thinking about creating a translation service. This where I will translate document from French to English or vice-versa.

        What do you guys think?

        2. What about writing articles in French, is there any market for this?

    Instead of focusing on just teaching french, promote products in french. Now you have a huge market :-) (obviously make sure that the products you are promoting are available in French). See if you can JV with some vendors on CB to translate their product and market it in French.
