Clickbank Shipping Profile

Hi,

I just logged into one of my clickbank (vendor) accounts, and in the my products page I have a new tab for "My Shippping Profiles".

It looks like this is for shipping physical products, but there's not much information about it.

All it says is:

To sell a shippable media product, you need to create at least one Shipping Profile. This Profile will allow you to specify where you're willing to ship products, and designate how much you charge for shipping to various Shipping Regions, either pre-defined or custom. Depending on the size and weight of your products, you may wish to have different Shipping Profiles for different products so you can vary your shipping charges.

Pre-defined Shipping Regions have already been created. You may also create custom Shipping Regions, which allow you to group countries you want to ship to.

Have any other vendors gotten this? I really REALLY would like to sell my products as physically delivered media through clickbank because of the affiliate system, but I'm also really reluctant because I think they issue refunds very easily and wouldn't want to pay for production on something plush shipping fees and then have it refunded.

My customers are all very good and I basically have a zero refund rate, but I don't have to worry about it anyway on digital delivery because there's nothing "tangible" that I'm losing.

Has anyone else seen this in your account yet?

Anyone done physical delivery via clickbank? Opinions?

Thanks!

    Thanks Harvey for the link.

One of the items mentioned on that page is pretty ambiguous:

"Customers must adhere to the vendor's return policy prior to receiving a return."

I'm already set up to do physical products very easily, and would really like to get into doing that with clickbank but would like to know if there's anybody who's actually done this and who would be willing to share their experiences.

Has anyone noticed a marked difference in sales conversions from digital/physical with clickbank?

Anyone had problems with refunds and so on?

Anyway I'm very curious now because in 3 years or so of being a clickbank vendor this tab has never appeared before so I'm seriously considering moving in that direction.

This is a very new system so you might not get many replies for now.

However my guess is that refund rates will go DOWN as it's
more hassle to return a physical product than click on a refund button.
