Advice integrating Aweber with Hostgator-wordpress

Hi,

I have a wordpress content site on Hosgator. I am thinking of list buiding through Aweber.Is that wise and do the 2 integrate easily. I have used getresponse a few years ago.

This is my first time using wordpress -is it wise to hire a webmaster to tweak it for me in terms of adding in optin pages etc -sales funnels to various affiliate programs.

Do you think that this is something that I should be able to do easily. I do not want to outsource unnecccessarily but neither do I want to get bogged down.

    Hostgator and Aweber don't "integrate," Graham.

    You host your WP site on your Hostgator account.

    You then add your Aweber optin code wherever you like on your WP site.

    No, you do not need to outsource that. There are TONS of great free tutorials about WP basics out there. If you just want a simple site up with some content and a couple of different opt-in pages, you can have that done in a weekend with no previous WP experience.

    PM me if you need some help. I'm far from a WP dude. And I'm not a programmer, but I'm happy to help you where I can.

    There are also about a million people on this forum who know about a million times much as I do about WP so asking here is probably a better start, to be perfectly honest. Just throwin' it out there, ya know.

    Really, though, you should be able to install WP and configure it in a very basic way in a weekend with zero previous knowledge.
