Default High Converting Squeeze Pages?

Hi,

I just wondered if anyone would like to share some high-converting examples of...

* squeeze pages
* video squeeze pages
* confirmation/thank you pages (that offer a backend product, report, etc.)
* order form pages
* etc.

Obviously, there are tons of resources that claim to have high converting this and that, but I just wanted to get some real time feedback from you guys to see what seems to be working well, cuz I'm ramping up my biz and just want to start off with something I know is working for others.

DISCLAIMER: I realize a common response is "just test it", or "it depends on your market", or "it depends on your offer"...and so on... I get that, and will definitely test different things, but wanted to ask for specific examples here to get the ball rolling.

Thanks for your help!

Here's one that has been converting at 82.1%:
Get Started - Step 1 of 2

I used it for Riley's 2010 giveaway event and got a bunch of leads.

82.1%? real good! "As featured on" header is awesome - Check out the credibility on Ron!

Mine did 50.8% on the giveaway (still trying to find that .8 person...)

Your % will depend on the source/type of the traffic- Ron was able to capture a much broader market, basically anyone with a website, whereas mine was more specific to people interested in starting a membership website.

Ron, did you test signup on left vs. right? I didnt but have read left converts better.
I think Ron's headline and visual elements are better too, and your eye more naturally moves to the signup area- nice designs, cough cough. May model it.

Thanks David,

I've always gotten better results with the opt-in on the right. There are many different theories and test results - however, I find what's most important is to offer something that people really want.

Ron,

Thanks for confirming the opt-in on the right gets better results. That's something I have suspected, as it seems to fit quite naturally in that space.

Your eyes see the offer and naturally move to the right towards the squeeze box.

I've been using that "form on the right" in all my video examples because most of the successful opt-in pages I have seen have it on the right.

I'm gald I'm on the same page as you in this regard. If you had said 'on the left' I'd be having a big 'DOH!' moment right now.

KJ
