Hello, I am working on making a page on my WP site where you have to signup just to access that part of the site only. What is the best way to do this? Thanks! |

Wishlist does that. So does DAP. They will run you a little under 100 bucks though, there are some cheaper ones I found on google searching membership plugins for wordpress but I can't vouch for any of those.

| Oh wow. I guess I wasn't thinking it would cost with so many other FREE plugins.

I believe WP does have a free one - but from what I heard about that the user can view your admin panel by logging in through those. The ones which cost money usually have a way built in that protects logged in people from seeing the admin section.

If it's just one Page, there are a few plugins that would protect it. And for the accessing admin panel issue - use a login redirect.

@R.Rapp, thanks for the recommendation of DAP :-) She is actually talking about http://DigitalAccessPass.com (DAP). And like she said, it's not free :-) And if you want to protect just 1 or 2 pages, then DAP would be overkill. - Ravi Jayagopal |

bravenet.com offer a free password protect service that you can probably apply to a single page but it will carry Bravenet branding. $39.95 for a year's upgrade to get multiple passwords and remove branding. Cheers, David H |

WordPress › Members Only WordPress Plugins It also has the feature to redirect the users after login to the page they were trying to view, so you may not even need a login redirect... In case you still don't want the users the wander around in the admin area - use one of the login redirect plugins: WordPress › WordPress Plugins | |

I have one and is restricting access to only a page I specified. It's called "User Access Manager". You may want to check it out. Marian |
