With IE8 you won't see a "help" option. Instead click the question mark icon at the far right of the toolbar and then "About Internet Explorer".

This is really weird then

I had this done for me last October www.kimstanderlineproducts.com

I decided to actually do something with it the other day, so I updated the version of WP to the latest and added a few more plugins.

Now when I look at it on my IE (8) the whole home page is frozen, (no scroll bar etc) yet it looks fine in FF and in IE explorer on another computer. (I'm really scratching my head here)

Kim,

I looked at it in FF and IE8 and it looks fine. Scrolls and everything. Only thing I would do different is add a white background to the optin box to make it stand out a bit more.

Kim, looks fine in my IE8 too - but, check your zoom settings (bottom right corner of your browser window)

I managed to replicate your screenshot by changing my zoom level to 50%

It was the zoom and I didn't realise, what an utter plonker I am (blush)

you can tell that a person is english when they refer to themselves as a plonker and not a jackass. Oh, and Kim, my IE8 is fine too.

I would suggest, from a design perspective, though, to clear up the white at the bottom. Im on 1650 x 1050 res.
