Personally i would promote a seminar for offline businesses and sell on the backend.

You can promote it yourself or JV with other B2B service providers.

Seminars can be extremely lucrative.

Have a really good product and JV with someone with an excellent list. If you have no reciprocal list, consider offering them a 70% cut.

Your question is not properly directed. What might work for me might not work for you for various reasons locations, expertise and so on.

But looking at things flatly.

I will learn a trade, one that requires little or no start up fee. Since am specialized online, what ever i would do will have to be online.

Once i get the ball rolling with my little resource, i will invest the money in the appropriate channel.

Maybe you will understand why i say there is a big difference between me and you.

I think it should be all about you and not me.

With $2,000 to play with, I would hire a certain Warrior to write me several articles, about 15 reports/ebooks and some other odds and ends. I'd run 15 WSOs and make $700 each. This could all be done at the rate they are charging right now. To sweeten the deal for the other Warrior I'd offer 10% - 25% of all sales for 3 months, not just to be nice but to insure high quality output also. Finally since each eBook/Report/PLR package would have their own URL and mini site I'd flip the sites for the $$ needed to make up for any short fall of the $10k

I've never heard anything about a cap on WSO's, considering how a lot of 5-6 page back WSOs are technically still selling. You have to wait till your WSO falls off the 2nd page before you can bump it though, I'll give you that.

I never saw anything official on this Jill.

However I asked a Mod once via PM and was told he didn't want to see more than 3 on page one and four all together. This was on the old forum where they dropped off after page 6. On this forum they go on forever and they go to page 3 in a few hours. There are Warriors with more than 15 going. A quick search showed me one with over 30 and that was not a deep search at all. What I mentioned above was not a "rule" but advice from a Mod to me when I asked him.

In my 15 scenario I'm counting bumps and even a little help from the Warrior classified section and HEAVY help from a sig file.

I agree with that, $700 is very conservative estimate if you're selling a quality product at WSO.

I and other members here are not familiar with PPC so I guess I can't go there spending $2000 to earn $10,000 in 30 days. But I guess with this idea of George it's possible to achieve the goal.

I am thinking if this is possible also for affiliate programs...

It's not over night, it's 30 days

, and I believe this is doable. With different kind of methods.

Successful marketers here even make more than $10K a month with out spending the amount I mentioned.

Why is it that people have this "perception" that its possible to make big money almost overnight, with little or no investment? Im getting a bit tired of this just quietly.

Online business is no different to offline business, its a BUSINESS - treat it as such.

I know you asked for our personal opinions but I want to just give an idea:

One thing you could do is to buy a site for under $2000 ofcourse that is already making money. Let's say you paid about $1500 for the site and it was making about $250 - $300 per month.

All you would need to do is spend the other $500 and market the hell out of the site and make some cash then flip the site for the difference to make up the $10,000.

Because it is possible. Of course one persons definition of big money is different from another persons.

The OP's scenario is big for me and I guess some others, but it is doable.

On the other hand it would be nothing for a lot of Warriors to accomplish.

If I had $2,000 to invest and wanted to earn $10,000 in one month I would launch a PPC or SEO campaign promoting a service. For instance, you could start a custom article writing service for $20 per unique, SEO article. People will pay that if you give them good content, I routinely get orders for double this amount.

You then find someone on odesk.com or some other freelancing website that will write articles for say $3 each. This is not difficult to do. You can find people from the Philippines, Bangladesh, and other places that actually can speak and write very good English. Of course you have to make sure of this, because you do not want someone writing "quality SEO articles" that suck.

At this point, you are making $17 per article, which means that if you get 600 article orders per month and outsource all of them you will make $10,200 in profit. This may not be the most efficient model, but SEO content writing is a very in demand skill, because most serious marketers are willing to pay a decent wage to get quality content.

Find a market and then dominate that market by providing a quality service. That is what I would do, and have done in the past.

Is $2k the only thing you have? No product, list, website?

If I had to start from scratch, this is a small outline of what I would do:

Build a squeeze page, drive $2k worth of clicks to it via PPC (only do this if you have prior experience. Always track your results. Drop the keywords that suck and focus on the ones that give you the best results)

Do adswaps with the list with people related to the niche

Make 2 products that is useful for the people. Let's call these Product A and Product B

Use eJunkie or something similar to handle payments that also allows affiliates

Contact the people I did ad swaps with if they would be interested in promoting Product A for 60-70% commission

Build small hype and then blast it to the list

Upsell Product B

$$$

NOTE: This does not have to be in the IM niche! This works just as well if not better in other niches.

You could do some serious niche research and come up with a bunch of markets for building sites to flip.

Hire some cheap labor to build the sites, write content rapidly, and get a the sites established fast.

At the end of the 30 days sell the sites off.

I have no idea if you could flip it into $10,000, but you could make a dent into it.

(Big Disclaimer: I have never tried this. If you think it has merit, check out the idea with some Warriors who do this on a big scale, first.)

With $2K to invest, this is what I'd do:

Day 1-2 (requirement = time investment)

1) Identify 5 profitable niches. Niches should have largest target markets with the most immediate needs and highest buying power. Niches should also have the least possible competition and the longest history of constant profitability.

2) Identify possible (doesn't exist yet) and competing (existing) products/services needed by the target markets of those niches.

3) Determine current market competitiveness in marketing competing products/services.

4) Compare my financial (let's go with $2K for now, but this can be grown with venture capitalization and credit offers) and non-financial resources (non-financial resources = existing network, reach, demographic advantages, knowledge and experience, skills, etc.) against development and marketing requirements of those competing products/services.

5) Choose the best niche out of those 5 based on my research data and analysis output.

6) Choose a subset of the niche's target market based on comparative analysis of my financial and non-financial resources, competitiveness in marketing competing products/services, etc.

7) Choose possible and competing products/services needed by target market subset based on comparative analysis of my financial and non-financial resources, competitiveness in marketing competing products/services, profitability, etc.

Day 3-7 (requirements = time and $1.25K investment)

8) Determine if development of a single product/service package which can provide most (if not all) benefits of multiple competing products/services is possible with my research data and analysis output as well as existing financial and non-financial resources.

9) Develop multiple single products/service packages which can provide most (if not all) benefits of competing products/services.

10) Determine if adding new benefits to my products/services is possible based on relevant factors mentioned above. "New" = not offered by competing products/services. This will comprise the unique selling proposition angles of my products/services.

Day 8-30 (requirements = time and $.75K investment)

11) Market products/services via methods with fastest possible results. Could be via WSOs and offers on other forums or sites where my target market subset hangs out, ad swaps with market-relevant site and mailing list owners, article and Y!A marketing campaigns, etc., then for long-term results: build backlinks for my main site and external marketing content and also build client-provider relationships, my mailing lists, business and social networks through effective methods.

With $2000 in hand it is possible to make $10k in next 30 month with CPA program, basicly to make it work we have to buy target traffic on PPC program such as adwords or similar and i know this is high risk for a beginner to get start, or i can also try to some PPV program that more cheaper.

To minimalize your risk so before you take any action is advertising, so i will move first with this step :

1. Pick some niche
2. Buy Hosting + Domain = $100
3. Hire Web desiger to make (mini site and squeeze page) = $100
4. Buy Autoresponder Service (Aweber(dot)com) = $30/month x (6 month plan) = $180

Now after you have spent about $380 for these, and you have set all with the right way, than go to the next step, which is :

5. Getting Targeted Traffic beside your niche
- Press Release/Submission
- Article Marketing/Submission
- And others
6. Collect leads from that traffic
7. Send CPA offer to the lead beside on your niche
8. COLLECT THE MONEY EVERY TIME YOU WANT TO BUY SOMETHINGS

NB: This is not instant methode to make $10k with 2k, but it will probably the best option for me, not only to spent that all money for ads.

If I had the answer ... I'd do it myself

However if I had to choose a way given this scenario, I would get someone who can write good, effective eZine articles for $3-$6 each, and get say 500 of these written. I would spend my time creating the landing page and choosing the affiliates. A review site may work best.

So the sequence would be:

Day 1 - choose niche, find keywords, register domain name, sign up for affiliate accs, e.g. clickbank.
Day 2 - hire writer, give him/her the keywords, domain name to base articles on, and a login to a platinum EZA account (may you can buy one if you don't already have one @ platinum ?? )
Days 3-7 - Install wordpress, create review site
Days 8-30
- Monitor traffic levels
- Supplement article writing work yourself to increase total articles
- When you get traffic - Google A-B test site layouts/wording to see which converts best
- Submit the EZA articles to the blog and also to other article sites (I have done this and outranked the EZA on my own blog which had very little pagerank)

This is basically going to be my plan, but part-time over the next few weeks. I am in no rush though

one month would be too much pressure especially having a day job.

If I knew how to quintuple my money every 30 days, Donald Trump, Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, et al, would be making obeisance to me every day. Furthermore, by simple mathematical progression, within a fairly short period of time, I'd posess all the money in the world.

If you manage to multiply those 2000 with 5 each month you will in 1 year have 488.281.250.000. (in 2 years 4.768.000.000.000.000.000)

Still I think it would be hard to do this so many times even with outsourced staff.

However, I do not think that is the point of the OP. I think the goal is to get a plan on how to do this, and I think she is willing to work for it. I do believe it is possible.

First you need to find how many visitors you will need, and then work all you can to get that number of visitors. (Remember, ghoastwriters also need time writing articles).

I think your goal is to make 10.000 in your second month after you have set up your website and your traffic sources. For 10.000 you need to sell 13,3 products with a $25 commission each day. You will probably need 100-200 visitors for each sale, so 1.330-2.660 daily visitors.

I think this will be possible with 100 articles well-spun and distributed to all the available article directories, document sharing sites, web 2.0 properties etc available. This is 3-4 articles each day. Use the 2000 dollars on getting those 100 articles and spend your time to spin them. Should take you a few hours for each (You will need to superspin).

Continuing to invest all profits into billions is where my mind blocks kick in.

It's like the old double a penny every day trick. If you start with one cent and double your money every day you will have ten million dollars in a month.

You can find your first penny and even your second, fourth, eighth, 16th and even 32nd one on the ground. After that investing to a few K is doable. Taking it to $10,000,000 in 30 days. That's another story.

What you say is true. However, the first step 2k to 10k is done all the time as I'm sure you know.

Continuing to invest all profits into billions is where my mind blocks kick in.

It's like the old double a penny every day trick. If you start with one cent and double your money every day you will have ten million dollars in a month.

You can find your first penny and even your second, fourth, eighth, 16th and even 32nd one on the ground. After that investing to a few K is doable. Taking it to $10,000,000 in 30 days. That's another story.

I can very easily turn a $2,000 bankroll into a ~$10,000 per month income and I'd probably achieve that level in more than 30 but less than 90 days. Bear in mind that I am not a newbie and have years of paying my dues to learn the ropes.

It's scaling that initial business up to multiples of $10k/month that will require a great deal more effort, investment and manpower.

In my opinion, the quickest and surest path to $10,000 with a $2,000 investment is to offer your internet marketing skills to offline businesses.

Here's the rub(s):

You have to know SOMETHING about marketing, particularly internet marketing. You don't have to know much but you gotta know something.

You need people skills because you'll be dealing with folks on a personal basis.

You must be prepared to actually work. This is the biggie. Most newbies are a little starry-eyed about internet marketing. They believe it's possible to acquire mounds of money overnight with little investment of time or money.

It's true. You can make mounds of money overnight. The part the IM hucksters don't tell you is that months of preparation go into that overnight success. As Robert Heinlein taught us: "TANSTAAFL"; there ain't no such thing as a free lunch.

Unless you are an experienced Forex trader with some solid time tested proven strategies that you have also personally traded then Forex is for sure the quickest way to lose that $2,000.

I would definately not encourage this route.

If I am having $2000 in my pocket to earn $10000, I can implement this idea to achieve the goal.

Website:
First I will spend only $200 for my professional website, which is suitable for all kinds of products or topic. I will pick 10 different products from the below list such as clickbank, cj, pepperjam network, amazon associates, moreniche, google affiliate program etc.

Adsense:
Each product has separate 10 pages that come around 100 pages in my website. I will do SEO for to get income of only $0.20 in one page that will fetch me around $20.00 a day. For a month I could earn $600.00 from adsense alone.

Clickbank:
And in clickbank as I already made some good articles posted in the site itself pointing to my affiliate landing page, more over, I could make joint venture with the youtube holder whose video got more than 100000 views, and relating to my clickbank products.
Expected sales in a month is, 15, so if I select a product that pays me $33.00 for a sale I would make $495. And I could expect 5 sales from my own website that is already keyword optimized so total $660 are taken from click bank alone.

Commission Junction:
In commission junction, instead of selecting a product of sale, I will select lead products like mortgage loans, credit cards, free credit report etc. because these product will give commission from $5-$40.00 for a single lead. So I could set up a campaign in US free ads, which gives more conversion as like as PPC programs. So my expenses would be for a featured ads is going to be only $40.00 so I could make 2 campaigns so total I need to invest is $80.00, but I could expect views of my ads more than 2000, surely 3 % of the conversion is expected, that will give me, that is around $1200 is the income.

Pepperjam Network:
In pepperjam net work is also giving lead products, but not like CJ, so we can pick pets and insurance oriented leads in Pepperjam Network. I will pick a lead that pays me $5-$10 for form filling. Then I will do Yahoo Answers posting daily without missing I can answer with my affiliate link to at least 50 daily, so this would be my hard work in the month. So 1500 answers can post for a month, expected conversion is only 3% because after our answer chosen as best answer, this will be displayed in search result. 45 leads can be generated; that is $450.00 a month. And giving a featured ad in US free ads for $40.00 will give more than 1000 views a month and conversion is 1% so 100 leads can be generated. That is around the total of $550 a month.

Amazon Associates:
Products from amazon are good chance to sell in Cragislists, I will choose for sale category and I will post 3 ads a day. But I will choose a product has free shipping and I will put the amount little bit higher in my ad, but when the customer clicks on the affiliate link, they will see a lower prize than I quote in the ad. Like this I will put daily 3 ads in different email address. So I can expect $200-$300

CPA offers:
I will put 3 ads in job section for content writers, and blog writers, I could expect more than 200 replies from those ads. I will give them a link to review the site and make a sample content about the site (that is also one of the leads) so every one will register first and reply me. I will select only 2 people whose content is good. These two guys you are going to use for your content or article writing works.

But the fact is all 200 people would be registered for giving a review, we think only 50% people only did the same. So 100 people did the instruction that will fetch if I take $18.00 lead, $1800.00

Moreniche:
More niche is also like clickbank, but this is little bit different from other affiliates, because commission is starting from $200 so we can do the same process for clickbank to this campaign also. The products include, breast enlargement, penis enlargement, body and skin development, viginal yeast infection, etc, all are sensitive products, and that every one is shy to ask in public showroom. So if I use a perfect video for this kind of products I can expect a 5-10 sales a month. I could expect $1000 in a month.

Download Earnings - Hotfile, Rapidshare, Sharecash:
I will register with hotfile, rapidshare, sharecash etc. and find cine actress hot trends in google trends; I will collect all of the pics in internet. Upload it to download account. I will create a catchy video and upload it to youtube, metacafe, and related video sites.In the description filed I will put download links to free download. By this alone I can earn from $2000 in these

No I will never do that, this site bringing me good income per month... Is it good to find additional source of income isn't specially if you have extra money to invest.

One more thing I guess, the main purpose why I started this thread is see what those experience IMer can share to all of us here at Warrior forum.

Have you considered buying an existing site/business on flippa.com? You can then make changes, better monetize the site and then "flip" it for two to three times what you paid for it.

At the very least, you'll have an asset that you can re-sell and get your money back. If you dump $2,000 into advertising an affiliate offer and you don't make your money back... then what?

Start blogging to develop your credibility too. remember worse comes to worse, you've got proof to future employers that you work hard (and whom doesn't want that)...and thats the WORST outcome.

George's suggestion is what first came to mind. To make that kind of money from scratch in 30 days you need to already have a place with the customer traffic. JV with a nice sized list is hit and miss depending who agrees to it. Meanwhile get a good product here and Allen may pick one one your offers for a JV.

I wonder how much people's answers would have changed if they had asked Ed if he had people to help him accomplish his task.

If they knew he had experience in SEO, creating websites, article writing, and other online marketing skills.

I'll bet George's suggestion can work for Ed.

Drop that 2k,at least a good portion of it, into a huge backlink campaign,making sure to go the extra mile to get those links indexed(backlink booster etc) which will drive more traffic and hence more sales(assuming copy is up to par)
