I don't know what Paintbrush is but a simple drag and drop works pretty well for any app, at least for me.

Paintbrush is the equivalent of paint on Windows.

I tried to drag the screenshot form my desktop but it does not work. I know there is a way to do this but just forgot how to?

Since it appears you already have a screenshot from a Mac, wouldn't be easy just to take another screenshot using your Windows computer? If not, just do a search for image conversion online. That should do the trick.

    Best of luck to you--

Right-click on the screenshot document, go to Open With... and select Paintbrush.

If you don't have a two-button mouse, Control-Click the screenshot document, go to Open With... and select Paintbrush.

After you make a copy of the screenshot, open Paintbrush then select NEW file. Once it opens, PASTE and the screenshot will be there.

    That's it.
