Offline Marketers Have You Had Any Experiences With AT&T PPC Services

I have a client who is a cosmetic and sedation dentist, he was approached from some guys with At&t. They pitched him on their yellow pages pay per click program were they create all his campaigns and submit them to google, yahoo, bing, etc, they also offering to build a website for him. The price is $1000 a month and a year commitment. They are also guaranteeing 7 new patients each month and that is a big red flag in my book.

I am trying to gather all the information I can about their service so I can give him the best recommendation.

I am also looking for an article writer to write 2 or 3 articles each week for his new dental blog that I am creating for him. I am willing to pay for quality articles please dm me with samples if interested

AT&T getting into the PPC game? Damn there must be a lot of money to be made.

Sorry I don't know anything about it.

Are you sure it wasn't an affiliate on behalf of AT&T - I've had similar things happen in the UK where x person claims to be calling from, when really they are calling in a vague association with.

I had a client approached by them as well but it was a pay per lead deal. Seemed pretty good. He has had success with another service like that. The only problem is may times the leads are not exclusive.

At and T has a pay per lead program called Ingenio. You pay by the call. It's on a bid up system like ppc. I had it last year when I was doing reverse mortgages but got no results.

A lot of these Yellow Page companies are doing a "guaranteed traffic" ppc type program and are doing it flat rate. They just give you a price. The price they quoted me recently was about $3.80 a click with 100 clicks per month minimum which got a roaring laugh from me!

I did the Pay Per Call EZ program for print and I am suprisingly pleased with it. Poor call volume but the calls I'm getting are converting at close to 1 out of 4 like the guy from ATT quoted me. I was told not to do the online pay per call because the leads are not converted at that high of a percentage which makes sense based off my Google AdWords campaign. I only get 1 call from 9 clicks from Google and convert 1 out of 10 calls because I get people doing research. If the AT&T PPC program could drive me more calls I would would be happier but it is a great supplement to my other programs.
