Hi,
I am interested in using Social Media ( Facebook, Twitter, Buzz ) to improve my seo rankings.

Does anyone know a good product which can help me out ?

    Not sure what you mean by SEO rankings... If you want your Twitter or Facebook page to rank well for a keyword term you should try to get that in the Facebook page name or twitter name and throw some anchor text backlinks at it.

    Tweets and Facebook posts also get indexed, so you can cleverly plug some keywords in there... I think you'd be better off using those services for traffic, not SEO rankings, but I'm not a big Twitter/Facebook guy.

    There's a lot of friend/follower tools that automate or semi-automate the process.

      Hi Scott,
      I meant use social media sites like twitter, facebook to get back links and improve my seo ranking of a site I am trying to get up organic google searches.

    You only need one backlink from each. Your focus should be a backlink or two from as many different quality websites as possible.

    Google treats 100 links across 100 different websites as far more powerful than 100 links from 1-2 websites.

    Keep in mind you need to keep up your link placement frequency if you want to maintain or improve rankings in a competitive niche.

    there are lots of social media out there. try to use social media with dofollow attibutes on it. in social poster site, there are button there for seo that will check only dofollow sites.

    Go to Ping.Fm and sign up with all the accounts. You can make a post there and it will send it out to a ton of Social Media sites for you. Look at this as one tool in the SEO arsenal. You should also look into:

    Ask around about the different services and how to use them properly. It will take a bit to get familiar with all of these if you're starting out. The most important thing with SEO is persistence. Realize it can take 4-8 weeks for significant results to show after starting a campaign.
