I have a site, Cool Ryan Easy Domains
(no affiliate link, no opt-in required, no ads, free to use - ok mods?)

I am not asking that everyone needs to use it right now. I would like everyone's help.

It helps you check if keyword domains are available fast and easy. It also helps you grab bulk lists of domains if you want to buy in bulk.

This tool is free to use, but it could be better.

My question is this:


How can I make it better?

What trouble, if any, does anyone have when it comes to domain name selection?

Is there anything anyone would like to see added to this tool?


Here is my next question:

What is the best way to monetize this tool?

I get affiliate commissions if someone ends up purchasing through this site, but it is not required in order to use the tool.

Is this the best way to do this? Is there something that might convert better?


A quick note about this tool:

This tool is and will always remain FREE. So no paid subscriptions, single use payments, or anything of the like.

This tool is for giving back to the community that has given me so much already, but I want to make it perfect for you guys/gals.

So, what could it use? What could it lose?

Lets put on those thinking caps people. This is for you, so if you don't speak up, I will never know.


One final word. This is NOT for self-promotion. I have a plan for that later. I really want to make it a free tool that people will go to when it comes to domain name selection and research.

    Hi Ryan,

    That is one hell-of-a killer tool. I bookmarked it. I am sure to be back often.

    On the "easy domain" site, the video opens in a very narrow window. I know how to pull it down, but I am sure a lot of people wont. I would have it open to its full size.

    You might also want to add some simple text directiions. i.e.

    1.) Add keywords here
    2.) Select domain name extension
    3.) Do you want to you hyphenated names. Then click here
    4.) Click the "get domains" button.

    Just a small bit of text above each step. Numbered of course. :>)

    Monetizing:

    You could move the white box to the left and add some affiliate links to the right. Maybe even adding your won ebooks/products. Possible sell ad space, add google adsense, etc.

    When the pop up for the optin newsd letter came up. I just closed it and went on. I would think a stronger message to get people to opt in would be a good isea as you can then market to them.

    Here is a website I found recently that offers resell rights to a ton of stuff. There is a ton of stuff here.

    Private Label Rights Products including PLR articles, ebook, templates, software and other PLR products

    I purchased a few thengs to market to my optin list customers. Once you get a good raking for this site, you will be able to do well I think as its going to catch on fast.

    Were you reading my mind?

    I have just struggled for most of the afternoon trying to find ideas for a domain name! This is a great tool. One or two of the 'available' suggestions were taken when I was redirected, but there are so many options that it is not an issue.

    Thank you! The only improvement I would suggest is a 'back' button because I could only try a new search after closing down and reopening the site. Unless I missed something?

    Cool site, as stated previously no back button, just have to use my browser back buton. Don't like it when I have to close your opt-in for your newsletter. If I don't want it then I do not like having to close it every time I hit the back button.

      Good idea Rajan. I dont like the pop under optin's. I just hit close without looking. But haing it on the sidebar with a good headline to get people to opt in will make it so they have to look at it often. So after they use this tool they will say "this is great" I am going to optin now.
