I'm looking for some really basic...

Newbie videos with plr that show folks how to start from scratch in IM. Something very like the vids Allen got done for us in the private forum we had on here a few years ago.

Included how to buy a domain name etc

Those vids, brilliant as they were are a tad outdated now, so I want something nice and fresh, anyone any ideas, and if not it's a product many of us would buy (hint)

Kim

Edit

Might be an idea if folks could list their thoughts here on the thread about the type of vids very newbie marketers would need. For instance, if you are a newbie, what type of internet stuff are you having problems with

I have photoshop for newbies which shows how to make a simple one page sales site. I didn't see the vids Allen got, but when I first started finding out about IM making a simple site was what I wanted to learn.

Kim, you've certainly got me thinking with that line - think I may just fire up Camtasia and put something like this together!

Russel Brunson did a real cute series "Zoobie the Newbie" that I'm sure is not what you're looking for, but is nonetheless very amusing:

Thanks for planting the idea, needless to say I'll be watching this thread with great interest to see what sort of videos would appeal to newbies. And I'll be sure to send you a copy!

I haven't seen any really great PLR videos... I would imagine they're a lot harder to come by.

Maybe you (or someone you outsource to) could transfer some good written content into videos?

      I love Zoobie the Noobie!

Also, "Do You Suck at Making Money?" has to be the best IM product title ever.

I've got a ton of videos I made a few months back, hadn't thought about selling them as PLR but I would.

    Hi Kim,

Not sure if you've found what you're looking for, but I thought this might help.

Ok this is what I'm looking for guys, (and it's a brilliant idea for a wso if anyone wants to take up the challenge)

Myself and some friends are going to be starting up a membership site shortly (aimed at newbie-intermediate marketer's) and I want to put a training program together for them via video.

This would include very basic stuff such as
    • Finding a domain name (preferably at namecheap), then how to point it to your webhost etc.
    • Some very basic (and I do mean basic) html
    • A quick tour of what seo, ppc etc is
    • A look at some free wyisiwigs such as Komposer
    • How to ftp (using filezilla)
Again I bet you guys could come up with stuff that you think you needed when you first started online.

Whoever does decide (if anyone does) to do it, then you'd need to remember the KISS principle. (Keep It Simple Stupid). Presuppose no one knows what you're talking about because very often they don't

    Cheers
    Kim

    Edit

Derek that looks an excellent course (and I'll probably buy it now cos Paul's stuff is fab), but not what I'm looking for)
