For those of you who have many affiliate products across many affiliate networks.. Are you buying domain names for each product? Or are you doing a simple review of 2 products on a free blog? Thanks

I recommend your own domain name, and here's why: if any of your affiliate sites disappear, you still have control over the domain name itself, and can therefore redirect it to something else. This way, you won't be entirely screwed if something happens to the site you're promoting.

I've had good luck with and recommend MyLinkGuard.com (not an affiliate link): you don't need to register multiple domains, just FTP new HTML pages to your main website. It's cost-effective because you don't have to register new domains over and over, and you get an affiliate commission on top of it. The only drawback is that it would really only work if you're in the IM niche, for reasons that will become obvious.

I've been buying domains for the main products I want to promote - about 5 right now. Then for the others I'm doing simple blogs about that topic. I've had better luck making profits with the website domains so I don't mind spending a few bucks a year for it. Sometimes I'll even buy cheap .info domains to direct traffic as a test instead of spending more for a test. Although some people are very anti .info, I don't mind them for testing purposes.

It depends on what I am doing. If I am doing article marketing I do buy a cheap .info domain and then redirect it to my offer. If I am doing general seo work for a couple of offers I buy one keyword rich domain for all the offer to do the reviews of each product.

Thank you for taking the time to respond. I figured going ahead and buying domain names would be in my best interest. If for no other reason than I own the website. I'm just starting, and just wanted to get some advice. Thanks.
