First of all, Thank you all for making this place what it is!

Here is what happened:
I made a post in my own thread(warrior for hire) responding to some query posted there. In 2 min, I get a pm from a guy telling me that he provides the same service that I do and asked me to contact him if interested . It took me while before I realized whats going on. He apparently didn't know that I am the owner of the thread and just PMed everyone who posted there

I immediately tried reporting this as spam. But for some strange reasons, I always ended up in a "database error" page every time I submitted the report. Frustrated, I left it there and went to sleep. I wake up and like magic, he is already BANNED

Thank you all who made this happen! Lets keep fighting these spammers and maintain the glory of this forum

    I'm new to this forum. Went through the rules, etc. Pretty interesting -- all of us are moderators, a concept that is new (to me, at least). I'll try to get involved with the community and offer help wherever I can first.

    You got a database error because an avenging admin got to him first

    30 minutes ago there was another advertising a dodgy site, within 5 minutes he was gone...truly exceptional mods who keep on top of it all
