INTERNET MARKETING

Is it really true that google penalises for affiliate links one one's site? Again is it advisable to cloak affiliate links?

Why not just cloak all your links?
Use (monster clicks.....)

  I've never heard that Google penalizes for affiliate links. I thought the point to cloaking was to protect the links from competitors and so that the usually long, ugly affiliate links weren't off-putting to prospects.
