Stupid fake testimonials...
It's one of those "Get rich with Twitter" widgets. The site not only used my buddy's real name, but they used one of his URLs, his picture, and part of his bio.
They show a fake check, and quote earnings for him from a program he says he's never used. Then, at the bottom of this flaky spot, they claim that he's been "renumerated." (Why does it not surprise me that people this stupid can't spell? Or do they mean he's been counted a second time?)
I hope he gets really torqued about this. If he does, he's as likely as anyone I know to find the real owners of that site and sue them until they bleed.
First note: Don't do this crap. It's not safe or smart.
Second note: There is no second note. Just don't.
