How to use copyscape?

I have written lots of articles ranging from 300-1500 words on different topics. I signed up in copyscape and purchased credits via the "premium" option. Now, what should I test to make sure what I wrote is original?

OR

Is there any other software/product I can get that is not very pricey or copyscape is the only one available?

Thanks for your guidance.

I would go for Dustball checker instead of paying Copyscape. It is free and reliable.

Copyscape works best when you paste in 2,000 words or less at a time but that's not to say that you should waste an entire search on one article only.

Have all of your articles in succession in one word document, highlight four pages worth of text at a time and do a word count to ensure it's less than the 2,000 word limit and then copy and paste it directly into Copyscape and you're away.

Thank you everyone. I will try the free ones first, then others.

ArticlePrince: I did not know anything about copyscape. So, I wanted to know what it would say about my articles even though I wrote it and 100% original, i did not know what to expect from that software. That's all.

Traffic-Bug: Thank you, on one of the articles it said there are 32 words that it highlighted within another article...What does that mean?

You can find similar (copied) articles simply by copying a unique sentance from any article (text) and putting it in quotes into the Google search box.

        I use this technique regularly.
