Anyone know of a good tracking how-to?

Hey guys,

I'm curious if there's some good books out there that explain how to set up all the tracking needed on sites and promotions.

Something that would show how to track:

  • which advertisements or promotions leads/sales are coming from
  • how to track affiliate promotions
  • how to tell which emails in my autoresponder actually lead to click through and sales

And other relevant things like that.

Any suggestions?

    I think Prosper202 can track that too. Not too long ago, IIRC, there was a thread on this.

    Last year or so, there was a WSO by Stangracer that was freakin' EXCELLENT and very thorough on how to use Prosper202.

    Do most of you guys track just the basics, or are you into tracking every single article and keyword when you do PPC? I've been trying to learn how to do all this stuff so I know exactly what's working and what doesn't, but it's been a struggle to find any good information.

    Anyone able to point me in the right direction?
