Subscriber wants to start out again

I just had an email from one of my subscribers who has been dormant for a few years and she asked the question what she should do to start out in IM again.

She was heavily into building lists and promoting affiliate sites. I suggested that she should start doing exactly the same again as she sounded as if she knew what she was doing.

Would you advise her to start building a list again, or something else?

I am curious to what you would have advised . . . and why?

Edit: Sorry, i should have mentioned that she told me that she didn't have the time because family pressures (ie raising young twins) took far too much of her time - they are at school now

I would've needed a little more info from her like why she quit the first time.If she says something like it was to much like work or something similar,I would then tell her to use the same skills she acquired in IM.BUT try doing something she likes or loves doing. This way she may stick with it because she is actually enjoying it.

I'd start back on the reasons that made her quit in the first place.
