Shame On Me! Started Work With An Affiliate Marketer Today!

Started work today in a company that deals solely in selling other people's products! Affiliate Marketing!

I have been pushing my affiliate marketing in the past few months without what i consider to be enough returns and had to take a job or else

I start and the company has more than 60 staff!!!!!!!!!!!! Doing affiliate marketing!

Creating websites
SEOing and PPCing existing ones and looking for more deals! FANTASTIC! Makes feel inadequate but.....better to see this live with my eyes

Achieving scale IS BLOODY POSSIBLE! How will this guy (believe it or not...he is 26 years old) pay over 60 staff if he doesn't make millions per annum!?

Any comments?

    I would suggest that you soak up all the knowledge that you can. Everything happens for a reason, and it looks like you landed a job in a place where you can learn a lot to further your own goals. Make the best of is.

      Yeah that is a great opportunity to see what works. Let them pay for all the testing and finding good products and keywords. Goldmine.

      Just remember what you learn and do it on the weekend and nights for yourself.

      Good advice from Timpears. Things really happen for a reason, I agree. You've just illuminated for me the world of affiliate marketing. It is look not so rosy and simplistic as some folks make it to be. Like anything else, especially business, it requires work.

    I posted recently how i am right now working for an affiliate marketer employing over 60 persons in his office!!!

    As I have been running a few affiliate programs before joining them.....lessons were immediate and straight in my face!!!!!!!!!

    Do you guys want me to leave regular commentaries of how affiliate marketing is done in here?

    I won't give the company or campaigns up but clear ideas of what makes it a company able to employ over 60 staff.........

    This sounds like an amazing experience! Soak it all up - like being mentored by a "guru" and being paid for it at the same time - do a few months there and you should see exactly what works and what doesnt, and yeh, I'm sure we'd all love to hear a bit more
