A newbie's quest to make money

Start with affiliate marketing. Learn it and understand it's dynamics.

And try to see beyond the hype and figure out what other people are doing to make money. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. On the other hand, there are lots of ways you can at least make $100 over the next month or two and slowly increase it over time. How you do that depends on where your interests and strengths lie.

Try site flipping. It is the easiest way to make money on the internet.

Promoting affiliate products and CPA products through article marketing is an easy way to get started if you do not have a website.

I takes hard work and dedication to make money online. I would suggest taking a look through the WSO's for a traffic course. Once you can deliver traffic you have the basis of Internet marketing.

But there is so much to learn, I don't want to pit you off but there is no get rich scheme...lol

Nothing comes easy. You need to learn the hard way to make money in every field and online is not an exception.

You need to find out what NICHE you like and want to be in before you ask questions that are two sided.....

You need to learn from Pro's who are well respected on this and other forums.... Guys like Don&Jeremy for instance have bootcamps. They teach you the right way. They helped me and a TON of other warriors. Though this might not be for you, at least you will know and learn!!!!

Here is the easiest way for a total newbie to make money fast:

1. Go through the entire 30 Day Challenge. (If you're motivated, you can do this in a few days.)

2. Once you are done, offer online marketing services to small business owners.

I've tried 'em all, and this one is the easiest by FAR.

Hi, We've all been there and are still going through it now lol. My advice would be to join Clickbank as its one of the easiest stream to finding great product and then start to promote them through Blogging. It worked for me when I started and its doing well for me now. Try not to be tempted to join sites that offer you thousands in return for 2hrs work a day....It don't work! and they end up using you e-mail address as target practice.

I am fairly new to this game as well, but here's what I am doing and finding some success: set up a WordPress Blog aimed at affiliate products on ClickBank. Be very specific in your niche and try to get a domain name that is very keyword rich. Review the Clickbank product and link to it. Being done by many many people but it does work. Tip: don't bother chasing Weight loss products and all the products with high "gravity" on the Clickbank site, go instead for some of the abstract niches which not so many people are targetting but are in the health niches.

The most important thing you can do is choose one system (i.e. affiliate program, or CPA marketing) then stick to it. Learn as much as you can and don't give up when it doesn't make money in 24 hours. no matter what anyone tells you, it will take Experience to figure out how to make money on line. The good news is ANYONE can do it if they just try.

I'm going to go against the grain here. The answers given so far, while each has a grain of truth, I believe are too short to give the OP a good jumping-off point.

This is what you should know BEFORE you get started:

1.) The Warrior Forum is an excellent resource for all IM-related needs. The amount of info can be very overwhelming, especially when you're first starting out.

2.) You're going to come across MANY methods of making money: so far mentioned are affiliate marketing, CPA marketing, and site flipping, which are just a few methods you'll find. All methods are extremely profitable, but each one will take time to set up, particularly if you're on a budget.

3.) There are many great WSO's/IM products that can either provide a blueprint for starting a business, or else a component for an existing business. I can say with 98.9% certainty that you'll be tempted to buy a handful of such products, but buying blindly because the sales copy looked good is a fast-track to broke 'n' burned out. (If you absolutely MUST invest in something, I recommend the War Room. There's a goldmine's worth of ideas in there for a one-time $37, and many people give away their WSOs for free.)

4.) Warriors are extremely helpful and many will come to your aid when respectfully asked, but you MUST keep in mind that no one is going to hold your hand on a public forum. If you really do want someone to take you by the hand and show you everything, a few Warriors offer coaching/mentoring programs, but of course, they come at a price.

5.) When you participate in Warrior discussions (and I recommend you do), BE YOURSELF! There's no need to act like someone you're not on this forum.

Now that you have that background info on the Warrior Forum, here's what you need to know about making money...

1.) You must be SERIOUS. There is a difference between people who talk about doing something, and those who actually do it. This means you must treat this as a business. Businesses don't sprout up overnight - they take time to grow. The big advantage of IM is that the more action you take, the more potential rewards there are.

2.) You must be aware that chances are, you will fail sometimes. This does not constitute as failure as a person, but rather, an opportunity to learn from your mistakes and act accordingly. There are some great threads about this in the Mind Warriors section.

3.) Play to your STRENGTHS. After some research on the forum, choose a business model (affiliate, product creation, etc) that works with your personal qualities and not against them.

4.) Get Organized. Write things down. Develop a plan of action that you can fulfill on a day-to-day basis. I'll go ahead and admit that I'm not always so great with this one, but always get more things done when I buckle down and organize everything. More great tips in Mind Warrior section as well.

5.) Take action! When you develop such a plan, take action on it EVERY DAY, even if you can only snag a computer for 10 minutes. Maybe this is just enough time to write an article or post a few backlinks, but in any case, you will feel more rewarded as your business builds. It's going to be easier said than done at times, but trust me when I say it's worth it. If you ever get stuck, don't be afraid to ask for help. Keep us posted on your progress!
