What is the best way to find affiliates and promote a product?

I am finishing a product in the health niche and it is under Clickbank approval now. It will go live in a couple of days.
I have put up an adwords campaign to test the conversion, and to my big surprise it is around 5%. People actually click on the order button although it is not live yet

I am now focused on recruiting affiliates, and I submitted the program to two main affiliate seeking directories, I posted a comment with an invitation on about 100 related blogs, and mailed about 70 marketers that I found on a JV list in the health and fitness niche.
Affiliates have to opt in to access the tools, and so far there are just 5.
The product price is 37$, commission 70%.
How can I find more affiliates?

The other question is about promotion.
I made 2 blogger blogs, released about 10 press releases, wrote a few articles, submitted the link to link directories, created a promotional video on you tube... the site gets about 70-90 clicks a day, what else should I do to increase traffic?

great idea, I haven't thought about facebook... I'll set up a page, although I am not that experienced with Facebook...

two main affiliate seeking directories, 100 related blogs, and the JV list that had about 70 marketers or the links, sources to them. I am an affiliate for health care products in clickbank. Maybe I might be interested in yours.

Probably what you have to do is in the right direction and it is just a half of direction that you have done, to get more affiliate you can go to online forum and tell them what they can get from you, give some contest to the affiliate so they can win or get some prize for they effort.

You can find even more if you type into Google "your keyword - blog".

There is a JV list for the health & fitness niche managed by Carolyn Hansen, I forgot the URL, but just search for "Carolyn Hansen JV list", and you'll find it.
