Submitting 100 articles -- spin each and every article?

Hi,

I have a good article which I want published and I am now thinking of submitting it to about a 100 catalogs.

But the question is -- should I "spin" the article (making some changes to it) a 100 times?

That seems like a lot of work.

The article would be in Danish, so I guess the acceptance rate would be lower compared to other articles (which again would make it likely that much of the "spinning" gets wasted).

EDIT: Changed the title to make it clear that it is article catalogs I was thinking about.

Don't know that you get stung for duplicate content ... if you are referring to directories = catalogs? then go with the big ones and then spin the articles re-submit to them as well ... just do it and see your results

You don't actually have to spin your article but there are numerous advantages such as content blog owners picking up your spun articles and syndicating them to their blogs. You can also use them for other things such as press releases, videos etc.

Tip: Always submit your seed article to YOUR blog first.

Now for how to spin your article:

Heres is a basic way to spin:

    • Separate your seed article into its constituent paragraphs
    • now write 3-5 variations of each paragraph
    • within each paragraph, make mini/full-phrase changes in each sentence, keeping in mind the flow of each paragraph.
    • Now use replacement synonyms for individual words and/or phrases and sentences
    I hope this helps.

Thanks for the answers. Thom, is what you're saying that if I were to get the (same) article accepted into let's say 40 article directories, then it would hurt my rankings?

If you want to build just backlinks, use a software to spin them. But, to generate traffic, you can outsource the job.

I would defintely not recommend spinning 100 articles by hand - you're right, it would be a big amount of time - there are free software programs you can use to spin your article and generate a big chunk of documents with different spun articles in them.

The one I use is Jetspinner - its free and simple to use:
    jetspinner.com
Although I don't recommend their submitting program, it's pretty low quality compared to some others out there

@submp3s I tried out the JetSpinner, but it didn't keep the paragraphs when it was done (the finished articles were without paragraphs...) Do you know how to fix that?

Do you know of other article spinner tools which work just as good?

        The Best Spinner $80/year
        Magic ArticleRewriter $80 one off
Article Apps - free but a bit fiddly and limited

Or if you are only going to use an automated submitter which will auto spin each submission, just look for { | and } on your keyboard.

I own Magic Article Rewriter and The Best Spinner.

I highly recommend The Best Spinner. Hands down the best I have ever used. Magic Article Rewriter was o.k. but once I used Best Spinner I was very impressed with it's ability to spin and create very readable content with very minimal editing. Great thesaurus and the spinning options are great.

Another quick way to change the content in your articles is to go to word, Put two or three articles in there on the same subject. Go to tools and press on summarize.

A box will pop up that you can change the percentage of the articles.

What this does is to put the articles together making one article but only using a percentage of each article so creating a new article.

If you keep changing the percentage you want of the articles you will keep getting variations of those articles. A quick an easy way to change the content.

    Hope that helps

Use the proper tool you could have them spun in 2 hours and they would be perfectly readable ...

You do not have to spin, duplicate content penalty is a myth.. If you do choose to spin you need to leave word replacements alone because it is a waste.

You need to rewrite each paragraph 3 - 5 times, not reword but rewrite. When you rewrite each paragraph 3 - 5 times then you will end up with an article that is going to be 70%+ in uniqueness. This is the number you want to aim for when you spin articles, the higher the better.

This is assuming you have a real article and not some 300 word blog post. Your article should be no less than 500 words and each paragraph 3 - 4 sentences long. By rewriting the paragraphs you will also end up with different size articles, some may be 500 words while other may be 540 words. This is a good thing because it makes it even more unique.

    Example:

The buzz is that article writing is the thing to do if you are marketing anything on the Internet. It is the number one choice for marketers to bring people to their web sites as one can add a link in the bio at the end of the article. However, not everyone writes articles for that reason.
The current thinking going around is that writing articles is one of the best things you can do when you are marketing your products on the web. By far this is one of the top choices for marketers to drive extra traffic to their websites, because as an author you can include links in your resource box towards the end of the article. You should take notice though that not all marketers will do article writing for this reason.
Notice how this paragraph was rewritten, with the 1st being the original and the 2nd being the rewrite. Notice it is not just replacing words.

To add one little thing to John's great description.

The easiest way I have found to do this is write all the articles in one document, and then separate them. I do all of the paragraph 1's in a row, so I can see the content of each of them. Then I move down and rewrite paragraph 2 multiple times. Then keep moving on.

Once I am finished with all the paragraphs, I separate them into the individual documents ready for the spinning software.

I find articles have a "longer life" if you rewrite each sentence then inside of each sentence choose a set of words to change then you'll be able to spin them about 40 times and have 40 unique articles (all saying the same thing). If you don't then it looks like the same article...a question...why don't you just write several articles and use them all?

I use Crewriter.com to spin my articles, for two main reasons, first and the most important: is free, and second, allows you to spin not only words but entire sentences as well.
