Urgent Advice Needed Pls

Hey All,

Im doing some work for an offline client usually the projects i undertake are small now i have a little problem and would like your opinion.

Im going to try and get him ranked for local search terms from a main keyword

you know the script e.g hairdresser seattle so my problem.

I've got a good list of 139 keywords i can dominate in terms of low competion, also no search volume is being suggested by google but i know there good ones to use.

Now do i get 139 x 250 word articles written and optimize each page or should i get say 50 written and sprinkle some of the other keywords in the articles LSI,

I was going to plan my categories pretty advanced to becuase they all tail of one keyword then two keywords so i can build my categories up great in wordpress.

This job is a little more complex than the usual so advice is much appreciated :p

Kind Regards
Mikey

Well if its not competitive at all, I would just use 3 keywords per article and have 2 in the title if it makes sense. Depends on the competition of course, but with very little theres no point writing too many. Also I would increase the 250 to 400 word articles if your using this method.

    hey,

So 400 words, the 2 keywords in a title will be difficult becuase the keywords all include the placename so it would be like horse riding in seattle horse dancing in seattle ovbs not horse riding.

So then optimize title, meta keywords and descrption, h1 tags 400 words and sprinkle ? 2 more in each article

    Thanks for your help

If we use 4-5% keywords in our article then Google wont penalize and it wont look spammy too. You should use 1% in the title and i would suggest that 2-3% in the description

You can include also include in conclusion.
      I hope this helps!

% in titles and descriptions, expand on that please, it is kind of confusing.

I would just like to point out to, many feel that keyword density is also a myth...

Write your posts so they make sense, don't try force keywords in there, that is the way to do it.

yes Butters it is very necessary as the articles are for humans and not for Google or machine.
I am just giving estimation that it should contain this amount of keywords to eliminate any confusion. Use your keywords in a natural way and dont stuff the keywords forcefully.

Explain how you get % in titles and descriptions... If a title consists of 100 words, does that mean that only 1 word could be used in the title?

I stated that you should just write articles for humans, you talked about %'s which would mean you write articles for machines...

Also just to add in there, where did you get these estimations from?

Put your keywords into groups, break them down and see what keywords go well with others, when you have that list, you have your number. Don't say 2 per article because 2 might not be right for that article but 4 might be right in another. Think about it and plan it... After you have, see if you can incorporate some h2 tags around the keywords some how.

    Thanks butters,

See usually I will only go after 5 - 10 local keywords to suit the clients budget but on this occasion im going for domination hehe i think thats a better way of doing it putting them into groups

    Thanks Again

    Hi Mikey!

I just watched some of Mike Cowles videos from One Hour Google and I would add the pages to their site on a blog a few a day, and also submit similar but different content to EzineArticles Submission - Submit Your Best Quality Original Articles For Massive Exposure, Ezine Publishers Get 25 Free Article Reprints with your sig pointing to the website.

    Then watch the rankings go-go-go!

    Best!

    Hey Dawn,

Yes this is what i usually do, i work on 10 keywords at a time, post to my site first then post the same article to ezine after indexing to proove i am the original owner.

I then turn articles into videos power point presentations, etc

I just didnt know how to approach this because of how many keywords im attacking at the same time.

So butters method worked great because in each block of keywords i can have a simple blur about each keyword and throw them in a h2 tag.

As i plan on having the complete top half of the page filled with call to actions optin form, phone number contact form, then the actual article text below it so when they hit my page the first thing they see is all the call to actions

    Thanks for your reply
