If your audience is primarily from the UK, use UK English. They like and prefer that.

If your audience is NOT primarily from the UK, use US English, because most everyone else on the planet doesn't learn UK English.

UK English: "Hello, how are you?"

US English: "Yo Man, what's up?"

Yes! Definitely US English for me!!! :p

Definitely US English unless you are especially focused around targeting UK audience with UK-based keywords, PPC, etc...

if your marketing is more broad, then you will find that 3/4 of your customers will be from the US. And the UK customers are used to reading our bad US English, so their tolerance is a little higher than you may think :-)

I nearly agree with all these comments.
Except that my products are all written in UK English as I haven't learnt US English yet.

98% of my buyers are from the US and I have never had a comment about the UK spelling.
