Help with review page please.

This is my first attempt at a review page. Could you please tell me what you think?

    Hi Carrie,

    It's not a bad start, but I think you can improve it a bit.

    As a visitor to your site, my first question was, "Why is someone who has been happily married for 32 years reviewing such a book?"

    So maybe you could include a paragraph on why this book was important to you. You kinda did that a little bit down towards the end (the paragraph that begins with "These methods DO work..."). But I think you need to expand on that.

    Make your review more personal. It'll help visitors to your site with the "Why should I care about this person's opinion?" question... and they'll be less likely to be skeptical and think you're just trying to sell them something.

    Hi Carrie,

    Looks OK to me and it is a good start.

    You will also want to add a opt in newsletter form to capture people's email and name.

    I would follow Bonnie's advice. There is always some room for improvment.

    Nice review. Did you read the ebook to write the review, or take it from the sales letter?

      Those are good ideas, thank you. I did read the ebook and it really does have some great stuff! I'll do some rewriting and definitely add the ebook cover.

      Any other ideas?

        I've made some of the changes suggested. How does it look now? I'm having trouble making the ebook cover graphic smaller, and it looks a bit odd to me.

        Also, does anyone know of a good free link cloaker that works on blogger?
        Still would love any more suggestions.

    You know, I also was put off by your long married status. I don't know why. Maybe it made me feel like you didn't need this ebook and you were just helping us poor saps out? Just a thought. Perhaps you should leave that out. Split test to see...

    I think your review page is really good! There are some link cloakers you pay for, but I use viral url and it works really well for me.
