Which Content Website is BEST to submit your articles to? About? HubPages? Detailed Comparison Chart

This is a pretty neat chart that my friend has been constructing, and I thought fellow Warriors may be able to benefit from it:

http://crunchydata.com/compare-content-sites.htm

I actually extracted this from her post HERE:
Chart to Compare Various Content Sites – The Content Writer | Writing Online for Residual Income

....on that post, she actually goes into a bit more detail about the chart and why she had decided to include/exclude certain websites....

NOTE:
It does say on the chart that it is a Work-in-Progress. Because of the massive amount of data she is compiling, that is completely understandable.

What do you think of this? Do you think it is helpful? Have you had experience writing for any of these companies/websites?

Did she miss including that you would have personally included? How do they stand against the rest?

It's quite comprehensive in the number of different features it compares, but for me it is a little hard to read because of all the colours and the size of the chart.

I made a smaller list for my affiliates and this seems to be helping them:

If I had to choose 1, or use 1 as a primary I would go with squidoo, its a realy friendly system and you can do a lot with it. Many like hubpages, but because you are only allowed 2 outgoing links, and the content has to be 100% unique I tend to stay away.

      Thank you for that, submp3s!

The truth is, there are MANY company/websites that are very similar in nature, that are all vying to do essentially the same thing. I do feel that we are on the cutting edge of user-generated content, however, there are intricate PROS and CONS in the functionality and product offerings of many of these websites.

The list of these website really goes on and on, and to detail every element of functionality would be really quite detailed and difficult to assemble data in the best possible manner. For this, I believe she has done a rather decent job at presenting this data in non-biased manner.

For you (or anyone), what do you believe is the most important element people should consider before writing for a website like this? Revenue share structure? Google Pagerank? the Ability to Publish in Multiple formats? Customer Service?

(This could become a very interesting thread! Looking forward to other's responses!)

For me page rank is not a massive issue - as long as it is decent enough, I think generally it is a good idea not to dive into just one and only one, but to spread your work across several - have them linking to each other even to make a bit of a link wheel, and all linking back to your main site.

Your main site / article could even be squidoo (my fave) or one of the others, but ideally I would recommend having it as your own domain / external site / blog and building your own brand in the end.

Oh, I personally ignore revenue share or try to turn ads off if I can - I want people going to my affiliate offers, adsense revenues are insignificant often compared to decent flows of affilaite sales.
