I need an article writer

Hi there jjwantmoney,

You've come to the right place for high quality article writers!

A good article writer will have a few questions for you along the lines of:

What is your budget?

How many articles do you need written?

What is the niche?

What keywords do you want them to use?

Do you want them to do the keyword research for you?

These are important questions you need to think about as they shape the way your articles will be created.

I know this from experience as I've had people come to me with almost none of this information and I can tell you it's very difficult trying to second guess what a customer wants from their article.

While some will ask you for your budget , I on the other hand believe that my articles are worth the same price . No matter if it is 10 or 1 .

Every article starts with the same blank sheet so why would the prices change with quantity .. unless they are just starting out or have no projects and the electric bill is due ?

I totally agree Troy! What I meant to say is that the customer needs to decide what he/she is willing to pay for an article. I for one refuse to work on the cheap as that can translate into the job being rushed in order to make a living. I'd rather charge a bit more and make sure that the quality of my article is spot on first time.

It's upto the customer to decide how much they want to invest in a service which will in effect be their "shop window".

If I was to take a stab it has to do with the topic of the content. Imagine writing articles about doing integrations in three dimensions? The amount of research you would have to do before you could produce a quality document on it would be immense. The only way I could see writers keeping their rates flat is if they have predetermined topics that they write about.

If I was to take a stab it has to do with the topic of the content. Imagine writing articles about doing integrations in three dimensions? The amount of research you would have to do before you could produce a quality document on it would be immense. The only way I could see writers keeping their rates flat is if they have predetermined topics that they write about.

Doug, you bring up another very good point. I used to do the per word pricing system but it doesn't reflect the amount of research time needed and the quality of the work. I now price by the piece instead of by the word and it's working much better.

I don't ever take a project unless I take research time into consideration. The by the word price is the lowest we go. There is always room tot go up .

Honestly There would be a lot of subjects I would not even consider taking on.

Good point Doug . Good rule of thumb for me is if the client ask for an article on a subject that I have to have them spell for me ... I pass on that one :-)

He shouldn't complain at all. He wanted to pay less so he got less quality articles.

WYSIWYG - What you see(k) is what you get.

He sought for it and he got it.

Maybe, he has got himself banned for complaining. Remember the #1 rule here.

Im looking for 5-10 articles. I will be doing all the keyword research myself, and I prefer shorter articles, around 300 words or so. They seem to be most effective in my view.

I will also need the articles to be pass copyscape 100%. I have writing ability myself as I have an ezine article that ranks in the top 10 for a competitive keyword, and its getting a 40% CTR, but the major problem is I HATE WRITING.

Id love to find talented writer that I can hire full time and pay a fair price too.

Troy, in some cases, the research time is less for a quantity order. I will often give a discounted price for ten articles on the same topic (just different keywords) because I know that I can research all ten at the same time. That is one reason that writers will offer a discounted price for larger orders.

Point taken. I charge by the word and pay my staff by the word . If someone is a serious client , I would consider taking them on my personal list and could maybe drop a little ... but not much lol .

I actually have only started working with online clients as we are the only local service . May end up changing my tos to some extent for online .

I have hired several article writers from elance and the warrior forum. I have found the best quality from the warrior forum because you can read the feedback a lot better and choose established writers who are active on the forum.

I have also found the price to quality ratio a LOT better here.

I don't charge per word, I have a flat rate. But, included in the flat rate is my research time. Also, it depends on the type of article needed, as to the price the person is charged.

Having said that, I rarely write articles and most warriors wouldn't like my prices. 400 word article is $45.

Writers do disappear, too. I haven't made a lot of noise about this yet, but I removed writing services from my sig on Monday, and am no longer accepting clients. I haven't decided yet whether this extends to copywriting as well.

have a good look around the warriors for hire section as there is loads of them to choose from. You will find that once you have experimented with 3-4 of them you will find one you like that is really good and stick with them.
