Default How much would you pay to Advertise on a Lamborghini Murcielago

How much would you be willing to pay to use a green lamborghini murcielago as advertising space?

Keep in mind, a lamborghini murcielago especially a lime green one is a head turner, not to mention the sound it makes. If you were to advertise a "make money online" product and say "You can afford this too, [website name here]" with some catchy graphics or something over the rest of the car with the use of vinyl wrapping. How much would you pay, or expect to pay? Also keep in mind, this car would drive around the busy parts of Chicago and the suburbs on the highways.

If I was going to build press around the lambo and make it some type of, "try to catch the lambo" game, I would pay $5,000 for a Lambo to drive around a city at least 250 miles.

I would say at 250 miles I would see at least 150,000 impressions

NYC is my home.

I know the wrap job itself would a few thousand, since I've had a full wrap done on a car (let me know if you need a contact). I'd probably think it would be like $4-6k per month is what I would expect, but that's just my opinion...I've never really considered it.

I met some guys that did this locally in NC where I live. Raleigh Mobile Billboard Advertising and Marketing | Sponsor An Exotic In case you want to call them and maybe see what they are charging, if you wanted to research that way too.

One more thing, we did a nationwide tour in a full wrapped Corvette...I know, not the same as the car you are speaking of...but we got VERY few hits to our website directly due to the car ad...I think it was around 100 visits and we drove 16,000 miles. Just what happened in our case, not to say that its not possible to do this better in a smaller area with an exotic car of that type. I just didn't see as much benefit as we had paid to have it wrapped...we just loved the wrap job so were happy with it anyhow!

I've done something similar to this in the past. I slapped a big colorful Hulk bumper sticker to the rear of my brother's Accord without him knowing when he drove downtown for an interview. I saw an increase in traffic actually although I'm not entirely sure if it's from my own rigorous SEO efforts or the bumper sticker method.
As for the lamborghini, I'd pay a lot for that advertising. I'll have to check my bank balance and then get back to you.

One savvy dude I know talked about running wrapped minivan
up and down some gridlocked NY turnpike. While it's not moving
a lot of miles, you've got a captive audience with gridlock.

Not saying sports cars are bad, but being stuck in gridlock
every day has a way of making people wonder if there isn't
an easier way to make money - and even though your sad-ass
driver clearly isn't doing it, the gridlock strategy gives your
prospects plenty of time to write down your URL.

I think I would go a step further if it was completely gridlocked. I don't know what would work in New York, but here in Austin, TX you'll see people working the corners selling bottles of water during the summer. I'm sure you could get water bottles ordered with your logo on wrapper or similar and hand them out. Just a thought.

Perhaps if the ad said - "visit 'your website' for a chance to win this car" you may have got more hits.

It's a great 'idea' to advertise on cars but if your ad isn't directly related to the car in some way you're unlikely to get much response without a more comprehensive campaign (park it up and have cute girls in branded t-shirts giving away branding merchandise etc.)
