Hi All.

Looking for Background/training - UK Affiliate Programs

Can you recommend some reading or training? Please!!!!

My current venture is in trouble the manufacture has screwed the importer I work with, I'm ok for a few months but longer term I think not.
I know it will take time to develop the visitor numbers so I want to get at least into the research phase asap.

So I'm thinking about new ways forward (for me at least) and affiliate prograns seem to work for some people. I'm inclinde to discount the histeria of the WSOs make millions by Friday approach, I'm running a business and expect to work at it.

So firstly; is there good £ to be made in the UK with these programs (Amazon do one)? I prefer real products, TV's, insurance anything with inherent value.
If so how much? I'd be very happy with £1000 -£1500 per month (say $2000? I'm cheap to keep, cuddly and house trained).

What I need now is all the background knowledge and or training that would give me a foundation to work off.

Detailed Outline of how they work.
How to choose? Is it like looking for a niche? Can I use Samurai?
How do I know a good scheme from a bad one?
All about targeted visitors?
I live in the UK but am I restricted just to the UK?

I need to get this sorted quick so if you can please help

The SEO and Tech end stuff my developer and I can sort out but I'm thinking a site supported with the full hit of web2, articles, linktricks, scrapebox (not to £ site) and so on.

I know this isn't what you want to hear - but I think your expectations are unrealistic. If you're urgently trying to replace your income you should seriously consider something you already know how to do. Jumping into affiliate marketing in the hope that it'll quickly bring you $2k a month is not realistic (it's highly unusual), so please don't put all your hopes in this and have a backup plan.

p.s John Taylor and I have put some decent affiliate training material up over at Affiliate Marketing Bootcamp which is currently free.

I don't need the £ urgently, just the means to get started. I would expect anything up to 6 months before I had a site up on page 1 and getting even half that.

Thanks for the link I'll check it out.

Andy. I've edited my original post a bit, thanks again.
