Paid v Free - Any thoughts?

Hi guys and girls,

I'm currently undertaking a drive traffic campaign and was wondering - do you prefer to go for paid advertising and get faster results or is it better to go with free promotion that may take longer to see results?

Both but if your website, or blog is new I would throw up a couple paid advertisement to get you rolling. If you have the money to invest paid can be very good. But for the long term effects and building a viable, long term business online concentrate the majority of your efforts on the free ways.

Hi,

As you said in your post faster (instant) results I may consider paid traffic but with some sources of traffic you've got to watch your step, test and track.

I usually avoid paid traffic, some campaigns take a good 4 to 12 weeks to start and build up from there.
