Are You Doing Article Marketing In The Forex Niche

Hi warriors, I have a forex review site that I am trying to do both article marketing and SEO for but unfortunate the article marketing doesn't seem to work.

Normally, I made at least 1 sales out of 4 articles submitted in order niches but that isn't the case for the forex niche.

I am not bothered about the "NO SALE" but about the article views. I submited 10 articles, all the 10 have a total view of 24 and 1 url cick.

I would not have complained as I know not every article will come out a winner but this is not the first time this is happening to me in the same niche.

Normally, for other niches, I average anything between 15-25% average cltr but for the forex niche, I have never gotten more than 10% and the article view rate is annoying.

Anyone having success in that niche? Can you share some of your tips with me ( us - the others that may be having the same issue ).

Is there any warrior here who has any idea on this subject? Does article marketing and forex trading work together?

I have ideas on this subject, in my capacities as (a) a former forex trader (it was virtually my sole source of income for a year though I admit I didn't exactly "get rich" out of it) and (b) an article marketer. (But I have no experience of being an affiliate for any of these products, and don't want any - that, in a sense, may just about make my opinion relevant, I suppose?).

I don't like the look of the niche at all, Yommy. I think that collectively (although I dare say there'll be a small number of exceptions), the products are crap, the refund-rates are high, it's hugely competitive and difficult, for myself I wouldn't be able to write honestly about the subject and still recommend most of the products, I think specifically the "trading advisor" products are almost by definition going to be very poor indeed because they're based principally on "indicator-based trading signals" - which is a totally misguided and mistaken approach to the subject - and I wouldn't want my long-term reputation as a marketer exposed to the risk of suffering from promoting most of this stuff. So I choose to keep away, myself. Sorry, not what you wanted to hear at all, I know.

I apologise if I've offended any vendors with my personal opinion above. It's only personal opinion.
That is a well thought out response and I hear what you are saying. I no longer am an affiliate for any Forex product. The one thing about selling any product on Clickbank is that they allow 8 weeks for a refund so there is a nice 'trial period."

I can offer a theory here. This just occurred to me after reading a recent thread started by Branlan17 about EZA premium membership.

I believe that Forex is one of the most competitive niches within Ezine Articles. That is they have more writers and more articles written, submitted and published on a daily basis than many other niches. This may mean that the Forex niche has more premium member writers (at EZA) who are scheduling the release of their articles to be published at the busiest times of the day.

I'm not sure if you have premium membership, but if not you may find that your articles are being pushed to the back of the queue and being published at the end of day with all the other non-premium members. (you can test that theory by submitting an article today and seeing what time they publish it!) Therefore you may only be on the recently published section for no longer than 30-60 minutes at a time, due to 100's, if not 1000s of non-premium members' articles being published at the same time. So unfortunately you are not really capitalizing on EZA traffic. Whereas with other niches you may have stayed on the recently published list longer because there was less competition than with Forex.

If you can't capitalize on the initial burst of ezine articles traffic because your articles are being pushed through at a rapid rate, then you have to find another way to get views to those articles. ie. search engines. Are any of your articles currently ranking? If so perhaps you could start building baclinks to them. If none of them are showing up in the search engines, you may need to base articles around keywords with far less competition than your current ones.

Unfortunately if you are publishing articles at EZA in a really competitive niche and you cannot schedule when you articles are released, you may find that you will get a lot less EZA traffic then you used to! So rather than dominating EZA with your content, dominate the search engines with it.

          Cheers

I never wrote an article on ezinearticles for the forex niche, but I would guess because it is such a competitive niche your articles are getting pushed off their recent articles page and buried pretty darn quick.

The more articles that get published on your topic the quicker yours will disappear and scroll off the most recent page of your category.

Your best bet is probably to make sure you seo your articles for some long tail keywords that will get you some searches in google long after the traffic from ezinearticles dries up.

I have written over 100 articles on Forex and made a lot of money with it. The conversions are not as good but the amount that you make for each sale is really high. You need to find the keywords that have to do with the hungry and serious traders.

I am doing OK writing about finance on hubpages. It's perfect for long tail niches. I see new forex hubs appearing every day. I gotta tell you, forex is in some kind of a crazy ponzi type bubble right now!

i am in the forex niche. But don't do many articles. Usually only do articles for product launches etc.. And it directs them to my review page for it etc..

I don't use articles that much so I can't say. Forex niche is very profitable though lots of buyers on it. I do quite well with it.
