So you want to make some money off the internet. That's cool but it isn't as easy as 1-2-3 like all those ebooks want you to believe. It takes patience, sweat and blood to make $10000 a week and rarely people are willing to put as much time in as it takes to make it big. But there's few methods how you can get your feet wet quick & easy. One of them is trends.

Marketing with trends is fairly easy. You just have to have imagination. There's two roads you can take: free or paid. Free means lot's of work and paid means you might lose money if your page isn't engaging enough.

How To Make Money with Trends - Introduction
Go to trends.google.com and see what's going on. You need to have access to CPA offers at this point or else how are you going to make money? Pick one topic where you can tie your offer to. For example the day iPad was released, I made some nice money with Apple related offers.

Then make a survey page. I use simple question that you don't have to think about much. For example: "Do You Like Apple's New iPad?" and Yes or No choices. Simple page is enough. Add terms of service, copyright, privacy policy etc. links in the footer to make it look more "official".

It doesn't matter which choice the visitor clicks, they always get redirected to your CPA offer that's related. I have noticed that sometimes I get a big bump in conversion when I use "thank you" bridge page. Basically it says "Thank you for voting." and then redirect visitor in few seconds forward. This way they feel that they completed the action and they don't get confused that was their answer saved or not.

How To Make Money with Google Trends - Free version
Go to popular forums, blogs, social news sites etc. and promote your page. I know this is A LOT of work and I can say that the traffic doesn't come easy unless you really hit a jackpot and you get voted and commented on the sites. If you go free route, make the page look extra good because you'll be viewed as potential spammer.

How To Make Money with Google Trends - Paid version
This is the way I do this nowadays. Buy CPC ads for related keywords. I usually use only content network and not search ads. You can experiment with search ads but you have to have your conversion rate up to the task or else you'll quickly have negative ROI. Content network has a lot cheaper clicks so it's easy to be profitable even with low paying offers.

Your ad should promise exactly what they find on your page - "Does iPad suck? Vote now!" or something similar. They have to see on the page what you promised in the ad, otherwise your conversion rate will drop like stone. If you catch hot topic like iPad you will get a lot of Apple fanatics who want to tell everybody that iPad doesn't suck.

There you have it. It's not really anything more complicated than that. Trend watching is something that many big affiliates do and this way they can tap to cheap traffic. I know you might have a lot of questions but just trust me when I say that once you try this few times you'll see how easy it is

Using trends to put up polls & surveys has been around for sometime but I just wanted to share my way of doing it

Using your imagination and any programs that can help you see and understand trends can be very valuable.
