I saw on my blog back page that I got at least 6 to 7 track backs from a blog who is publishing my blog posts. They are not crediting them to me or listing my site....are they stealing my posts? I don't get this! Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Robin

Trackbacks are a good thing. It means links to your site. If they were stealing your content, they wouldn't link back to you.

They must be listing or linking your site somehow for your blog to recognize it as a trackback.... I would look at the site, see if they are using the whole article or an excerpt only and then decide if you want to contact them to stop them doing it.

Links are good in general but if they are coming from a bad neighborhood then they may not be so good....

I just read your post again, is their blog just posting your blog posts word for word? That's a bit cheeky really. It wouldn't hurt to send them an email to clear things up.

Yes, they are posting it word for word. The only reason it came back to me in my spam comment folder was that I have a "related posts" plugin and those linked back to my blog! I did contact them...waiting on a response. This is copyright violation!
