Wordpress SEO and "All in One SEO Pack"

Hi there warriors.

I got just a few questions for you all, firstly, I notice a lot of people on their squeeze page's are using a single description in place of the keywords which is the same description that they use in their meta head, is this a common practice with marketing a single product on one page ?

Secondly, I have plugged into my WP , All in One SEO Pack. Is it more beneficial to add new keywords for each new post or is it generally enough to just have site wide keywords and meta description while emphasizing keywords in the article itself?

Thank You for your time.

To manage SEO you have to be up on the constant changes going on because as soon as you learn something or design a plugin it's outdated. The current word is that Google pays less attention ot meta descriptions these days and often pulls an excerpt on it's own. Meta tags used to be work, but Google got wise to tag stuffing and they're fairly worthless now, too. Your best bet at the moment is to place your keyword in your post title-- as close to the beginning as possible-- and a few times in the body of the text. Headings may still be good, as are boldface and italics. These days, tags are pretty much just useful for navigation and indexing.

The one SEO method that seems to remain consistant is content. As long as your content provides searchers what they are looking for and you spread the word, you've got your best chance of getting traffic.
