Can You Push A Domain Right After Transferring It?

Hello Warriors:

I know there are restrictions on transferring a domain to another registrar right after a previous transfer but can you push one to another user with the same registrar right after doing so?

    There are no restrictions in pushing a domain within the same registrar but different registrars have a time period lock for pushing a domain to another user after a transfer.

    For e.g. Godaddy has a 60day lock in period after the domain whois details are changed. Some other registrars have varying periods of time lock.

    It is better to check with that particular registrar's support before initiating the push.

    ALL registrars have the 60-day no-transfer window. It is not decided by the registrar -- it is an ICANN rule. However, this 60-day window does not apply to pushing a domain to a different account within the same registrar. It only applies to transferring a domain to a different registrar. You can push a domain to another user any time, as often as you wish.

    Domains priced right (which is really godaddy) let's you push before the 60 days.

    Well should be able to push the account to a different account under the same regisetered company ex 1and1 or godaddy. But I know for sure that you can't push it to a different company within 60 days.
