OMG!!! My First ClickBank Sale After 7 Months Of IM-ing!! Oh Yeah!!!

Woooooots~! After Trying for 7 months, I finally did it! The Feeling is FANTASTIC~! Man! I feel Uber Great Now! *Hops around and does a victory dance!*

Alright!!! Before I get over my head, here are the details of what I have done:

1. I bought a domain name titled with a pen name which I used at Ezinearticles.

2. Built a Blog With Monetized articles within, plus a free opt-in service on the sidebar.

2. Did some basic keyword research using google external keyword tool & wordtracker's free key word tool.

3. Wrote about 30 articles, one per day, and submitted them individually with a 2 days gap.

4. Ping my articles when they come live using Blog and Ping Tool - Use Pingler.com to Drive Traffic your Blogs and Websites (free)

5. Social Bookmark my articles using Automated Content & Bookmark Distribution | OnlyWire (free)

6. I was patient........ But not very patient..... So I tried out Adwords, just randomly placed about 300 over keywords related to the niche I was in.

7. Stick on the google analytics code.

8. Patience... Patience... Patience....

9. I had about 160 visitors from adwords, 80 from ezinearticles, 30 from unknown sources.

10. This morning I woke up, login into clickbank as usual, and POOF~! Magic! It's simply Magic! $53.18 in commission!! I made not just one, but 3 whole sales in a row!

AWESOME!!!

For those starters out there, the most important thing in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD is NEVER EVER GIVE UP! PERSEVERE ALL THE WAY!! Yahoo~!

On the contrary I spent about $8 on adwords before I gotten the sale,

So my nett profit is about $45 dollars~ ahahaha...

Hope this isn't a silly question but do you know if your sale came from Adwords, Article Marketing or the "other sources"? Whichever one it was you want to upscale on that method of traffic generation.

Keep your adwords campaign going and track it. Give us an update with any success. Article marketing is great but if you made those sales from adwords you're on to something very very nice.

Yep tracking is the way to go. You need to know where that sale came from.

I can think of one niche that I work in today that when I originally started marketing it I went through 700 Adwords clicks and no sales

I wrote 10 articles in one day and made a sale within 24 hours.

I tried and tried to optimize my Adwords campaign to improve it and get it profitable but still nothing.

So I concentrated on article marketing for this particular niche and it works like a charm. I still crank my articles out for this niche/product regularly now.

I think it came down to this - in the particular niche I was working in their needed to be more trust built before customers were prepared to buy and seeing my status as an expert in this particular niche via articles is a big thing to prepare the customer to trust me before they hit my review site for this product.

Of course the experience is different for every product/niche so it pays to test but this is just my story.

I am always happy when I saw posts such as this. I am glad for you and wish you more success but please note that your first sale ( though very difficult to get, it is always like that ) is the beginning of the journey.

Your second sale may take a while to come ( I am not GOD though and not predicting anything, just talking from experience ) but don't give up.

It took me 1 year and about 2 months to make my first sale and the second did not come until 3 months later but I decided not to give up ( many thanks to the warriors ) and now I have done my first 2 $2,000 months and already done my first 3k month ( this month ) which is as a result of not keeping up.

My advise to you is never to give up even when things seem to be going tougher. Remember one thing :

Successing is a Journey and a set back is always a set up for a come back - a great come back.
