Hey everyone,

Got a problem with a new site I am trying to get going, and it is a problem I have never faced before, rather unusual to me...

I have installed wordpress onto my domain/hosting, and when I try to install a plugin I get the message seen in the attached pic below.

I don't know what's going on here? I have never had this problem before, but this is the first time I am using wordpress with this particular host also...

Any suggestions, or anyone come across this before???

Help will be greatly appreciated everyone!

JP

Your new host may have a security setting that does not allow Wordpress to do this automatically so Wordpress needs to have your FTP information.

My suggestion would be to try entering your FTP information and see if this is sufficient. If Wordpress is still unable to work with this information then perhaps contact your new webhost and ask them if one of their settings is blocking Wordpress from having access to upload and download.

    Hope this helps
Yip, I have tried entering the correct information, but the files for the plugins FAIL to upload

It takes a while for the screen to re-load, then when it finally does, I get the following message attached below...
