Anyone used the Fresh Trailers Theme? Having trouble with thumbnails..

I'm setting up a video site on wordpress and for some reason I can't get the thumbnails or the background pictures working properly. I have the video embedded and I got myself a suitable image for the thumbnail but for some reason when I try to upload it using the themes upload button it gives me an error that is completely gibberish to me. I then tried to upload the images using wordpress and using that link as the "external image url" but that didn't work either. It's getting pretty frustrating because I am trying to get all the videos up quickly so that I can start the marketing process but I'm stuck trying to figure this thing out for the first video.

The error that I receive when I try to upload is as follows:

Anyone have any idea what i'm doing wrong? Or anyone have any information on how to properly get the thumbnails working?

    Using a 'themes upload button' isn't how you should upload an image.

    The external URL is for a file that's already online someplace, for which you then supply the image URL - it sounds like what you're trying to do is to upload an image from your computer. Do you have an FTP program, such as Filezilla (which is free)?

      I Have got exacly the same problem. I tried the theme on other site and there it was working.
